Nicole Kidman shows off baby bump

Nicole Kidman has taken her four-month-old baby bump to its first red-carpet do – the premiere of her new film, The Golden Compass.

Wearing a partly see-through Prada dress with feather-covered capped sleeves, the 40-year-old star revealed she chose the film because it was child-friendly.

Kidman, who adopted two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, said: ‘My Bella and Connor are 13 and 15. So they have seen the film and they loved it. My child inside won't see the film for a long time.

‘But I think once you have children, you want to balance the work you do because they give up so much of you to your work.

‘So you want to make films that they can take their friends to, they can go to the premiere of, that they can celebrate.’

Kidman, who married country singer Keith Urban in June 2006, was in Japan promoting The Golden Compass, a film based on Philip Pullman’s wildly successful trilogy of chidren’s novels.

It's amazing how brave she is to show it off after a miscarriage...But if this tiny bump is really hiding a four month pregnancy then we can all hope she is really out of the woods!!! Can't wait to read more about her baby in the next few months....
