World's most overpaid stars
Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe have been named and shamed atop a list of Hollywood's most overpaid stars.
According to Forbes magazine, for every $1 Crowe has been paid, studios have only earned $5 back at the box office. Nicole fares slightly better, making her studios $8 for every $1 she's paid - although compared to Angelina Jolie (who brings in a far more impressive $15 per $1 fee), she's still on the expensive side.
Rounding out the top five is Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell and Jennifer Lopez, while Cameron Diaz, Will Smith and Tom Cruise all make it into the top (or bottom, depending on how you look at it) ten.
Out of the ten offenders, Carrey is doing the most to defend his reputation: on his new film, Yes Man, he's not getting a salary at all, and will only be paid once the film makes money.

The studio's should start paying them on that ratio then for every $10 the studio earns the artist gets $1 or %10.
