Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have ended their three-year marriage, with a shock statement confirming the couple’s split today. Sob!

The gorgeous duo, who share two-year-old son Flynn, have ended their six-year relationship with a joint announcement to the press.

Confirming the news to E! Online, Orlando’s rep said, "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced that they have been amicably separated for the past few months.

“After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.

“Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."

The British actor and Australian model began dating in 2007, before their marriage in July 2010 after a month-long engagement.

The couple made their last public appearance at the opening of Romeo and Juliet on Broadway in September, where Orlando is currently starring.

Although both stars have been staying in New York, they’ve only been snapped separately while out and about with adorable Flynn.

It’s inevitable that the couple’s busy work schedules will come under fire after their split, while Miranda continues to juggle catwalk appearances, Swarovski campaigns and her ongoing work with Mango.

No one likes a sad celebrity split! Here’s hoping this is the last of the year…
