Clinique at Harrods Kiss It Better
If your boyfriend has left buying your Valentine's Day present to the last minute (sound familiar?) urge him to head to the Clinique counter at Harrods, where all profits from sales will go to the Kiss It Better appeal.
Set up by beauty editor Carmel Allen after her daughter was treated for Neuroblastoma a type of cancer that is the lead killer of one to four-year-olds the Kiss It Better appeal aims to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital to aid research into the cause and treatment of childhood cancer.
One in every 600 children under the age of 15 will develop cancer, which equates to approximately 1,500 new cases of childhood cancer a year. Half the children diagnosed will be under five.
Great Ormond Street Hospital has the largest centre for childhood cancer in the UK and Europe but it needs your help to ensure it continues to boost childhood cancer survival rates and provide the best care possible.
Other ways you can help? Visit any ASK restaurant from today to Mother's Day and they will donate a 'kiss' (£1) from every kid's meal ordered. Or, pop in to Tesco and pick up a bag of Pink Lady Apples between now and Mother's Day and Pink Lady will donate 20p from the purchase price to Kiss It Better.
But for now, hotfoot it to Clinique at Harrods you know you can never have too many lip glosses! And that dry old mascara? Time to trade it in for a new model.
See you in the queue!
