- Prince William was born at 9.03pm at St Mary’s Hospital in London on 21 June 1982. He weighed 7lb 1 ½ oz. Princess Diana surprised the nation when she left hospital only 21 hours after his birth.
- Princess Diana's due date was thought to be 1 July, Diana's 21st birthday, but she gave birth 10 days early.
